Operations management is a business arena that deals with efficient management of business operations, primarily that of production of goods and services. It deals with accurate handling of the different vital processes that convert materials into finished goods. Experts believe that it was influenced by various aspects. The Operation Manager must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They must have a deep understanding of the core business of the company and avenues for growth. Due to their broad set of responsibilities they must have excellent time-management and prioritisation abilities. They liaise with a large number of diverse staff and so must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. They must be confident with financial data analysis and budget planning.
Role:
  • The current recruitments are going on for Asia Pacific region.
  • You will be responsible for providing support and services to the marine projects within the region. In addition you will be required to monitor and coordinate with others.
  • Work preparation process with regard to organisation, systems, work methods, schedules and resources to ensure a safe effective and efficient execution of the marine projects.
  • Coordinate the tendering and negotiating processes for marine projects and provide support in practical matters, staff an manpower.
Managers of operations are responsible for ensuring that the equipment used by the company to produce its products and services is adequate for the task. This includes purchasing, inspection, maintenance and repair. This type of manager will also liaise with quality assurance staff on the final products and customer satisfaction. The supply chains and purchasing of raw materials is another area in which they will ensure that business is efficient and effective.
